Hot Air Baloon Adventure - Sri Lanka - Dambulla

Lanka Ballooning (Pvt) Ltd is a fully licensed operator and approved by CAASL (Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka) affiliated to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation and relevant Ministries to operate hot air balloons in Sri Lanka.

Lanka Ballooning (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka Balloon) was established as an investment by Uluer Group in 2016 after years of research and experience in hot air ballooning in various countries for over 16 years. Mahmut Sami Uluer (MD) also makes significant contributions to diplomatic, trade and cultural relations between the two countries as the Honorary Consul General of Sri Lanka in Turkey.

We own and operate 2 hot air balloons, each bearing the Sri Lankan balloon design and exclusively for passenger transportation. We have the capacity to carry 26 passengers at a time.

The climate in Dambulla – Kandalama is exceptional for flying balloons due to its extremely calm and predictable nature.

Balloon trips in Sri Lanka are usually early in the morning (because the weather is more stable) and the average distance we cover, depending on wind speed and direction, varies from one to ten miles.

The altitude at which we fly will vary from treetop level - where we enjoy contour flying at low altitude to several thousand feet above: the perfect place to view the majesty of Dambulla - the Kandalama region.
